Wondering if you need a lawyer or where to find one?
Need a lawyer? Unsure whether or not to seek legal counsel?  The Missouri Bar can help you out.  After viewing their overview on whether an attorney may be necessary, take a look at their directory.  It provides a list of all lawyers who are in good standing with the Supreme Court of Missouri.  It also provides the Missouri Bar Lawyer Referral Service which can help you find an attorney to answer all your questions.  This lawyer will typically give a thirty minute consultation for $25 to help you determine the next step you need to take in dealing with your legal issue.

The Missouri Bar also provides numerous brochures, from probate law to tenant law, to assist you with any legal issues that may arise.  These are written in plain language and are a good first step in understanding the issues which you may encounter.
